Illuminated Gold

Illumination is a decorative art frequently used within Islamic art, and it is based on a combination of geometric and vegetal patterns and the application of gold. This piece is primarily composed of vegetal patterns with an emphasis on Rumi designs. It is garnished with gold and painted using classic and Halkari techniques. The piece is used to illustrate the unity, beauty, and comprehensiveness of Islam.
