Surah Yaseen, Ayat 40: “It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float each in an orbit.” Surah Yaseen is one of my favorite surahs, and thus, I am always either reciting or listening to its recitation. When I was reading its English translation, I found this beautiful ayat and immediately felt the urge to capture the visual image that appeared in my mind when reading it. I believe this ayat can be understood in many ways, but to me personally, I view it as expressing the coexistence between the night and the day and the significant nature of both.
